In 2008 Andy recognized an opportunity to help business owners in the San Francisco Bay Area grow their companies profitably while enjoying more time away from their day-to-day work.  By helping them adapt cost-effective marketing strategies and systems to their unique market and company challenges, Andy enables small business owners to increase profits without dramatically increasing marketing expenses.

As a licensed affiliate of TopLine Business Solutions, Andy has been trained in the most innovative and effective marketing techniques that are exclusively designed for small businesses.  Moreover, Andy draws upon his 15+ years of directing sales and marketing organizations and programs, including 7 years as lead sales executive for a multi-million dollar software company, 2 years as a senior product manager responsible for the marketing strategy for a multi-billion dollar computer product line, and 2 years as a general manager for a manufacturing company.  As a turnaround management consultant, Andy also guided companies through crisis situations as acting Financial Controller and in other executive roles.

Andy has his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and his MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business Administration where he was awarded Beta Gamma Sigma society membership and also earned the Dean’s Leadership Award.  He lives in Danville, California with his wife Elizabeth and two children.

Bill McClureBill McClure, Advisor and Executive Consultant
Also a licensed affiliate of TopLine Business Solutions, Bill brings over 40 years of business leadership to Sherpa.  His personal executive experience in small business and startup engagements includes CEO of a mission-critical software company and Founder/Executive V.P. of a technology startup.  In his prior 28 year career at Eastman Kodak Co., Bill was responsible for the largest government contract for the company at that time, among many accomplishments.  His involvement in Sherpa Business Development allows our clients to tap a level of expertise in business process and systems that Fortune 500 companies pay top-dollar to acquire.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT and has attended numerous seminars and programs related to small business development.  He lives in Lafayette, Colorado with his wife Lynn.

Hugh Crossin, Advisor and Executive Consultant
Hugh also brings over 40 years of business leadership to Sherpa (that puts us at over 100 years combined!).  Hugh injects his branding experience and artistic creativity into Sherpa projects and our own marketing (he is responsible for many of the illustrations in our CLIMB training program, for example), while maintaining a keen business sense.  As V.P. of Advertising for Genesee Brewery for over 15 years, he was central to the company’s transformation from traditional beer brands into the “micro-brew” age.  Also in his 15+ years as an advertising executive he was responsible for major campaigns of such companies as Pan Am and Kodak.

After graduating from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts, Hugh was commissioned as an officer and served three years in the U.S. Navy.  He lives in Rochester, New York with his wife Kate.
